Caracol supercharges North American manufacturing with its new headquarters
Caracol, a global leader in Large Format Additive Manufacturing (LFAM), has officially opened its newheadquarters and production center in Austin - Texas.
The facility more than triples its previous footprint, expanding capacity for systems production and application development with local companies, while reinforcing Caracol's long-term commitment to North America's manufacturing industry.
Faster production: Local manufacturing of technology cuts lead timefor quicker delivery.
Increased capacity: up to 100 platforms assembled and installed at clients' site per year.
Direct support: US based experts provide immediate technical assistance, in <24 hours.
Co-development: Collaborate with Caracol's team to leverage LFAM for your specific applications.
Top quality standards: produce in accordance to ISO 9001, EN 9100, and ISO 14001 standards.
Lower costs: Local production reduces shipping and final product expenses.
The new headquarters brings advanced manufacturing closer to customers. After 224% growth in systems delivered over the past year, the facility allows the team to expand across functions - from service and operations, R&D, application development, and large-scale production.
It houses assembly, testing and delivery areas for Caracol's Heron AM and Vipra AM platforms, plus an application hub to develop projects with local manufacturers, giving them direct access to Caracol's engineering, materials, and product testing.
"This expansion means faster progress, closer collaboration with our customers, and solutions designed for their unique challenges – not to mention supporting domestic production in the U.S."
