Extrusion 2026 is less than a month away, and while everyone's talking about the sessions, we wanted to focus on the other side of the show: the networking. From a beer garden reception to booth-side conversations, here are some ways to make the most of your time in Austin.
Make the exhibit floor your first stop. Sponsors bring some of the industry's deepest expertise. Stop by each booth, ask hard questions and take home solutions you may not know existed.
Sit somewhere new at every meal. The easiest networking play there is. New table, new peers, new conversations. Two days, six meals, plenty of chances to learn and expand your network.
Wind down day one at Banger's. The Opening Night Reception at Banger's Sausage House & Beer Garden trades the ballroom for a beer garden. Grab a beer, meet some peers and settle in for a great night in Austin.
Introduce yourself to a speaker. Catch them after their session or during a break. They're happy to share their knowledge and meet the people using it. Don't be shy!
Stay for the after-hours. Some of the best conversations happen after the sessions end. Austin's a walkable, welcoming city, so grab dinner with new friends or catch some live music.
